As a fan of the keto diet, chicken wings are one of my favorite snacks. It was only a matter of time before I treated myself to an air fryer so that I could make them quickly and I seem to have the best air fryer for chicken wings you can buy.
I know I’m a convert, but as a relatively lazy cook, I love the speed and ease of using my air fryer. Plus there is only the tiniest bit of washing up to do afterwards.
I can have my wings ready in 15 minutes, way quicker than an oven. I can fit 8 wings into my fryer at one time, which is just the right amount for me, or two of us as a snack.
The chicken skin comes out super crispy and lovely and tender inside.
I have to admit that I loved the price too. There are a lot of air fryers to choose from, but I didn’t want to pay too much. This one seemed good value to me, and it’s certainly great value for money.
This is the one that I have. I like the fact that it’s not too big. If there are more than two of you in your family, you may need to choose a bigger model.
To make my chicken wings I simply rubbed them with some olive oil then with salt and pepper and put them in the basket. They take about 15 minutes depending on their size. I normally check to see if the skin is crispy first before I take them out.
It couldn’t be easier, and I’m now finding out about all the other things that I can make in the air fryer too. It’s a great addition to my kitchen, especially as I’m often making food for just me. I’ve also found I can make lovely crispy pork belly in it too.
Further, I’ve found out that I can make great cheese omelets in it. Who’d have thought? They’re ready in about six minutes, so great if I’m in a hurry.
I’m normally slow to buy kitchen gadgets; experience has taught me that they all too often clutter up my kitchen unused after the first time or two.
However, I haven’t had my air fryer very long, but already I can see it’s going to be something that I use almost every day.
It certainly saves turning on the oven, just for a small amount of food. I also think the food seem to be less dry when cooked in the air fryer.
So, if you’re a fan of chicken wings and love the thought of being able to whip up a batch in no time, I would definitely consider getting one of these.
